Serengeti, the possible war zone

Flying over Boma, Sudan, Paul Elkan is surveying a wilderness that has been off limits to international researchers over 30 years ago. Elkan told CNN that its one of the last wilderness areas in Africa. People claimed that the elephants were extincted in Southern Sudan, so when people saw the elephants in the helicopter they cheered and started yelling. People said that the elephant was extinct because of the civil war. The soldiers killed elephants for their meat. Zebras also suffered in the war.

We think that its a good news to know that the elephants aren't extinct. We also think that people shouldn't have used elephants for their meat.
